Early in 2016 it was announced that American Name Services would be giving a “bonus” to each member of the ANS team for meeting our 2015 sales goal. The bonus was to be used to fund an ANS trip for each employee and a guest.  Over the next several months, we will give a brief summary of where our employees have ventured.

Lindsey is our Social Media Manager. She used her ANS trip bonus to go with her husband to Grand Cayman for a week. Lindsey summarizes her trip below.

Our trip was all about relaxation and that’s exactly what we did! At the airport, we were greeted by a live band playing Caribbean music and lots of warm welcomes. We stayed at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort (which I highly recommend) and spent the first day trying to catch up on sleep after our red-eye flight. Later that day we ate at a restaurant on the beach with a great view. We ended up eating there a lot throughout the trip, so we didn’t have to leave the beautiful beach side. 

The next day we left the resort to take a tour of Stingray City. The tour group was small, so we got to know each other fairly well and it made experiencing everything together a little more fun. We got to hold and feed Stingrays, which was fun and unnerving all at the same time. Our tour guide also held the stingrays up on our backs to give us each a “stingray massage.” While on the tour we went snorkeling near a coral reef and experienced a starfish encounter. Stingray City was definitely the major highlight of this trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Grand Cayman.

The rest of our vacation was spent relaxing at the resort: weekly s’mores night, enjoying the sun, kayaking, eating, and playing in the ocean. Thank you to ANS for enabling us to take such an incredible trip! I love working for a company that values their employees so much.
